The Genghis Khan Exhibit Comes to Music City The Great Khan has come to Nashville without his horde-- the Mongol lord rides alone down Lower Broad past country music dives and "I'm so lonesome I could cry" . . . The Great Khan has come along with all his relics and his bones: the warrior restless for new worlds to ravage; his soul still animate behind the fierce bronze face-plate. The Great Khan has come, his spirit-horse moves slow-- unimpressed by plateglass and plastic and neon rainbow-- and a little shocked too by this thing never seen: a city not worth conquering.
